SK have eliminated Ghost from ESL One Belo Horizonte following a convincing victory in Group A's elimination match (2-0; de_inferno 16-6, de_dust2 16-4).

The last series of day one in Belo Horizonte began on Inferno, with Ghost getting a 4-0 lead on the offense after Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik clutched a 1v1 in the pistol round.

The Brazilians quickly found their footing as Jake "Stewie2K" Yip replied with a clutch of his own after Ricardo "boltz" Prass grabbed three kills. Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo then entered the fray with key plays over the next three rounds, including a triple and a double, which led to a 4-4 scoreline.

Unable to shut down Marcelo "coldzera" David on the A bombsite in the next round, Ghost found themselves on the back foot, with SK's stars taking turns in making plays for their team. It wasn't until 9-4 when the North American side found their first round in the last ten, with Matt "Pollo" Wilson's 1v2 clutch breaking the streak.

SK ease past Ghost
Switching over to the offense with 10 rounds, SK added the second pistol round to their tally after a play towards A, and continued to reach match point after Fernando "fer" Alvarenga clutched a 1v2 in the first gunround. Ghost could do little to stop their opponents, only winning the 21st round before inevitably falling 6-16.

SK's pick, Dust2, followed, with the two teams trading the first four rounds back and forth until the Brazilians prevailed with two in a row. Establishing their advantage, FalleN & co. proceeded to clinch the next four rounds as well, before Subroza's defuse in a smoke gave Ghost their third round.

It didn't do the North American squad much good, as FalleN replied with two opening kills that allowed SK to split B and followed up with another double in the next round. Ghost ended up clinching one more round before the half ended at 11-4 once fer closed things out with an AWP quad-kill.

When coldzera decided the pistol round with two kills in a 2v2 situation, there was little hope for Ghost, who were unable to convert the following forcebuy and the first gunround, facing elimination at 16-4, 2-0.
