OpTic (https://www.hltv.org/team/9167/optic), who announced they were putting together a team in India with open try-outs, have released the chosen five.
Last month, OpTic (https://www.hltv.org/team/9167/optic) revealed they were going to trial players starting May 7th (https://www.hltv.org/news/23460/optic-open-tryouts-for-all-indian-roster), in an attempt to "be a pioneer in the Indian Counter-Strike space that identifies and nurtures talent from the country’s immense player base." Now, that team is a reality.

Among them, the most known are Agneya "Marzil" Koushik (https://www.hltv.org/player/10032/Marzil)and Sabyasachi "Antidote" Bose (https://www.hltv.org/player/14519/Antidote), who are part of a new breed of Indian players, but have the experience of already having won local LANs, with the former having played outside India at eXTREMESLAND Asia 2016 where he faced the likes of Hyun-Pyo "XigN" Lee (https://www.hltv.org/player/9172/XigN) and Hae-Sung "HSK" Kim (https://www.hltv.org/player/9174/HSK).
We reached out to the Asian Counter-Strike expert Sudhen "Bleh" (https://twitter.com/OfficialBleh) Wahengbam, a member taking part in the selection process along with SoStronk and OpTic, who told us this team, which is full of young blood, is built to try and challenge regional teams in Asia with a proper structure supporting the players, including international coaching, salaries, and bootcamps, etc.
